Sunday’s Program – 16 June 2024 – Lismore Turf Club

STARTS 10AM / BAR OPENS 11AM / LEAVE YOUR PET AT HOME / $3 CARPARK FEE

BRING PICNIC RUG, KEEP CUP AND WATER BOTTLE, YOUR DANCE SHOES AND LOVED ONES!

LisAmore! is a present to the community. It is created by the Italian community who reside here to help strengthen our relationship ties with Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto whilst celebrating the positive impact of immigration in our region. LisAmore! is going to be whatever you want it to be. From dancing and chatting with friends; attempting to wrestle a large piece of rope; to joining the kids in an egg and spoon race.  You could bring nonna for a tarantella dance or sit quietly catching up with family, enjoying the atmosphere. Nonno may enjoy wandering amongst the Italian cars and bikes. LisAmore! has something for everyone of all ages and abilities.

Starts at 10am with the bar opening at 11am. The event finishes at 3pm with the last dance. Please bring your own picnic set – water bottle and keep cup. We will have somewhere you can wash up your dishes but don’t despair if you forget we will still have takeaway containers!

Highlights include dancing to Domenico and the Latin Mafia, joining Serena Joy on the dance floor to learning a traditional tarantella, our Tug-O-War at 1.30pm with Summerland Bank (have you got a team together) and of course the music and food.

The Kids Space is where old fashioned fun meets time out with the kids, where children can learn, play and create and kick a ball around!
